Twenty chefs and room managers from prominent Catalan restaurants have met with the management of the Fòrum Gastronòmic Girona to agree on the topics for the debates between professionals that will take place during the event that will be held between March 13 and 15 in Girona . The meeting was held at the FoodLab innovation center in Riudellots de la Selva and brought together the heads of the kitchens and dining rooms of establishments such as Miramar, Les Cols, Enjoy, Els Tinars, l'Aliança, Castell de Peralada , Casamar, Empòrium or La Falconera, as well as representatives of the Empordanese association La Cuina del Vent or the Gremi de Carnissers i Xarcuters de Girona, among others.
Precisely sharing the needs of these professional profiles, essential for the proper functioning of a gastronomic business, is one of the objectives of the Girona Gastronomic Forum. And, in addition to focusing on training, talent and technological innovation applied to gastronomy, the event wants to be a point of debate among professionals about the problems that affect the sector, the gastronomic trends that are imposed in other places and future strategies to follow in a coordinated manner.
The work session has been very positively valued both by professionals and by those responsible for the Fòrum Gastronòmic Girona, who have already announced that other similar meetings will be held during the year 2022, far beyond the intense activity that will be generated in the event.
